From Charlotte: (approximately 2 hours)
Travel Interstate 77 North about one hour from Charlotte. Take Exit 73B
(Highway 421 North) toward Wilkesboro. Travel about one hour to the Boone
area. Approaching the Boone area on US 421 you will see a GM (Chevy, Geo,
Pontiac, etc) dealership and a Nissan/Mazda dealership on the left. After you
pass them, turn left at the first traffic signal on Bamboo Road. There is an Exxon
station at this intersection. Go approximately 1 mile and turn right on Wilson
Ridge Road. At end of Wilson Ridge road, turn left (this will be Deerfield

Road). The church is ¾ mile on the right.

 
Another Route from Charlotte: (Less than 2 hours)
Travel Interstate 85 South to Gastonia. Take Exit 17, Highway 321 North.
Highway 321 will take you through the Hickory area, Lenoir and Blowing Rock.
Approaching Boone on US 321, turn right at the first traffic signal. This is
Deerfield Road. You will see Watauga Hospital on the right on Deerfield Road.

Travel Deerfield Road for about 2 miles. The church is on the right.

 
From Winston-Salem via Wilkesboro: (approximately 1½ hours)
Travel US 421 North through the Wilkesboro area. In about 30 minutes you will
approach the Boone area on US 421. Look for a GM (Chevy, Geo, Pontiac, etc)
dealership and a Nissan/Mazda dealership on the left. After you pass them, turn
left at the first traffic signal on Bamboo Road. There is an Exxon station at this
intersection. Go approximately 1 mile and turn right on Wilson Ridge Road.
At end of Wilson Ridge road, turn left (this will be Deerfield Road). The church is
¾ mile on the right.
 
From the Hickory area via Blowing Rock on US 321: (approximately 1 hour)
Travel through the Hickory area, Lenoir area and Blowing Rock on US 321.
Approaching Boone on US 321, turn right at the first traffic signal. This is
Deerfield Road. You will see Watauga Hospital on the right on Deerfield Road.

Travel Deerfield Road for about 2 miles. The church is on the right.

 
From Asheville/Ridgecrest: (approximately 2 hours)
Travel Interstate 40 East to US Highway 221 North near Marion. Take US 221
North until you come to Linville (near Grandfather Mountain entrance). You will
turn left at the light on Highway 105 north. Stay on 105 for approximately 20
miles. As you get into the Boone area you will go through three traffic signals
before you arrive at the US 421 and US 321 intersection. Landmarks include a
First Union Bank, Wendy's and a Quality Inn. Turn right at Wendy’s onto US
321 South. Go to 5th light and turn left on Deerfield Road. The church is 2
miles on the right.
 
From Spartanburg, SC via I-85: (approximately 3 hours)
Exit Interstate 85 on Highway 221 North. Travel through Rutherfordton and
Marion. Continue on US 221 until you come to Linville (near Grandfather
Mountain entrance). You will turn left at the light on Highway 105 north. Stay on
105 for approximately 20 miles. As you get into the Boone area you will go
through three traffic signals before you arrive at the US 421 and US 321
intersection. Landmarks include a First Union Bank, Wendy's and a Quality Inn.
Turn right at Wendy’s onto US 321 South. Go to 5th light and turn left on

Deerfield Road. The church is 2 miles on the right.

 
(An alternate route is to take Interstate 85 north to Exit 17 (US 321 North) near
Gastonia. Travel north through Hickory, then follow the directions above from the

Hickory area).

 
From the Blue Ridge Parkway: (2 minutes off the parkway)
Exit at Bamboo Gap near mile marker 286. Turn left once you have stopped on
the exit ramp. Go 150 feet and turn right at the stop sign. This is Bamboo Road.
Travel about ¼ mile and turn left onto Deerfield Road. Go approximately 1 ½

miles and you will see the church on the left.

 
From Elizbethton/Johnson City, Tennessee: (approximately 1.5 hours)
Travel Highway 321 South toward Boone. At the first light before getting to
Boone, turn right on US Hwy 105 by-pass. Go to end of this road and turn Left
onto US Hwy 105 North. Travel approx. 2 miles to US 321 intersection
(landmarks include Wendy’s, First Union and Quality Inn. Turn right at Wendy’s
onto US 321 South. Go to 5th light and turn left on Deerfield Road. The church
is 2 miles on the right.
